God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three personalities: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are coequal and are one God.
(Genesis 1:1, 26, 27 & 3:22; Matthew 28:19; 1 Peter 1:2; 2 Corinthians 13:14)
Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is coequal with the Father and Holy Spirit. Jesus came to this earth in the flesh, was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin and lived a sinless human life as God in a body. Jesus offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross. He physically rose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. Jesus ascended to Heaven and will physically return again someday to earth to reign as King.
(Matt 1:22,23; John 1:1-5,14; Heb 4:14-15; 1 Cor 15:3-4; Rom 1:3-4; Acts 1:9-11; 1 Tim 6:14-15; Is. 7:14; 9:6)
God’s Spirit is personally present in all of creation and is sent out to Jesus' followers to bring about the new creation. In the Bible, any time we see a description of the spirit of God, such as what is depicted in the first few verses of the Bible, the Hebrew word "ruakh" is used. Ruakh can describe an invisible, powerful energy, and necessary for life, making it a fitting description for the spirit of God. It is through the life of Jesus that God carries out this return of His spirit.
(Gen 1:1-2, Acts 1:8, 2:1-4)
Salvation is God’s free gift to us but we must accept it. We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness can anyone be saved from sin’s penalty of death. When we turn from our self-ruled life and turn to Jesus in faith we are saved. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith.
(Rom 6:23; Eph 2:8-9; John 14:6, 1:2; Gal 3:26; Rom 5:1, 10:9-10)
PRO 10:9 is a reference to Proverbs chapter 10, verse 9, which states: "A man who walks with integrity, walks with strength." We are committed to running our business based on this promise from God.
The dove and flame are symbols of the Holy Spirit. The dove was mentioned at the baptism of Jesus. All four Gospels include the account of the Holy Spirit descending on Jesus in bodily form like a dove This dove affirmed Jesus as the Messiah. On the day of Pentecost, the Holy Spirit came upon the apostles in the form of a flame.
(Matt 3:16; Mark 1:10; Luke 3:22; John 1:32,.Acts 2:1-4)
