Emergency & Exit Lighting Service

  • Annual Maintenance
    • OSHA Regulations require that emergency and exit lighting be in working condition at all times.  Life Safety Codes require these units to perform for a minimum of 90 minutes in the event of a power outage.
    • Our technicians are equipped with the proper tools necessary to test your emergency & exit lights to ensure they will comply when the time comes.
    • Load testing of batteries and testing of charging circuits give the maximum assurance that these life safety devices are ready to perform!
  • Repair Services
    • Our technicians carry the most commonly required parts such as sealed lead batteries and low voltage light bulbs to ensure that in the event of a unit failure we're able to get the unit back up and running.
  • Unit Replacement
    • Our technicians are also capable of replacing defective units or simply upgrading units to more energy efficient LED devices.  We stock the most common types to make sure we can efficiently correct any problems you may be encountering.
  • Monthly Inspection
    • There is a requirement that any battery back-up unit is tested for at least 30 seconds every 30 days.  Quite often our monthly fire extinguishers customers will enlist our assistance with this service each month as well, again saving their employees from being pulled away from their jobs and getting a fully insured technician to handle it instead.

Emergency lighting

When power failures happen, customers, guests and employees need to be able to safely find their way out of the building.  Even a room / building with a lot of natural sunlight can be difficult to exit when storms darken the skies and power drops.  If you add in an emergency situation such as a fire, panic can overcome those in the dark.  Give me a call so I can help you stay in compliance and stay safe!
